ITWORX Education will be making a special appearance this year at BETT UK from the 21st till 24th of January, 2015. The company will announce its recent alliance with Microsoft, introduce a Progress 8 tracking solution, and reveal its plans for a new LMS and PD solution.
ITWORX Education has formed a strategic global alliance with Microsoft to offer its learning content management solution EduShare as part of the Office 365 bundle to educational institutions. The partnership capitalizes on joining forces between the two organizations to provide cloud ready, and mobile education solutions to schools around the world. It also widens the scope of collaboration between students and teachers, in addition to increasing access to learning resources.
The partnership follows Microsoft’s recent recognition of ITWORX Education as Worldwide Public Sector Partner of the Year for Education in July 2014, underlining the company’s powerful impact in the education market.
ITWORX Education will soft launch its new LMS solution in a few weeks. The solution is designed to tackle the challenges of 21st century learning and teaching. The soft launch in Q1 will give teachers a centralized space to plan and manage their scheme of work, as well as keep students engaged and motivated through a game-like learning experience.
“We have been designing this new system for over a year, drawing upon our 10 years of experience in the industry, we are very excited with our new design and strongly believe it will help teachers and schools deliver the kind of education students need in today’s evolving world.”
Hatem Sallam, CEO of ITWORX Education.
The new LMS will allow teachers to create individual learning paths to address students’ different needs. It introduces different learning methodologies to arm students with 21st century skills.
ITWORX Education will also uncover the latest version of its performance measurement solution Edu360 to address Progress 8. Edu360 provides measures, insights, and data visualizations to reveal what’s happening and why. It also reveals the school and students’ progress in comparison to the previous year. The new release of Edu360 addresses the UK’s new evaluation system, Progress 8, which will be applied starting 2015/2016. It measures students’ performance across 8 subjects (Math, English, 3 EBacc subjects and 3 Open Group subjects).
“We understand that moving towards Progress 8 will be a difficult transition for schools. With this in mind we designed new dashboards that will provide data and insights that will help school leaders to maneuver through this phase smoothly,” explained Sallam.
While students are at the heart of any education environment, nobody can deny the critical role that teachers play. Great teachers are a key driver in the transformation and success of learning. And to ensure that teachers are not forgotten, ITWORX Education will also be revealing its solution EduPD at BETT. EduPD is a platform for teacher professional development that supports learning, assessment, collaboration, evaluation and reporting. The solution allows teachers to browse available courses through the course catalogue and register into any of the self-paced courses.
ITWORX Education team is an expert in providing award-winning, unique, and user-centric connected e-learning platforms that employ the latest technologies and cutting-edge education techniques, tools, and applications.
